Entertainment nurtures the dream

​

One thing consistent when I work on each production is, to treasure every meeting I have and to live in the moment.

 

I have faith in every Planning/Production staff and the cast members I meet,

and to establish a trustful relationship with them always turns in to a strong bond.

 

The encounter with the Musical, "Annie" has inspired me to proceed my career

as Director/Choreographer/Producer.

I was still performing in the Takarazuka Revue when I played the leading role in "Annie", but the experience drew me into producing and the process of creating,

and before I knew it, my dream was to become a production staff someday.

 

When I saw the Grand Opening Ceremony of Tokyo Disneyland in 1983, I was moved and shocked at the same time to see a totally different style of American entertainment, "a world created by Disney" just before my eyes.

 

There was Hollywood, Broadway... the world that I had always dreamed of since I was a child right there before my eyes.

 

Whenever I direct a production, I cherish to send the common message of Disney and Takarazuka Revue, which is

"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them".

 

I treasure everything I learned from Takarazuka Revue, experienced from the World of Walt Disney and to learn American Music through that experience.

They've all laid the foundation of my production activities.

 

Technological progress in recent years has enriched the variety of direction.

Values and Lifestyles have changed with the times, and it has also influenced the way of thinking of the young generation.

 

However the emotion that underlies each of us is universal.

With that belief in humanity, I will continue striving to treasure every meeting, to give courage and hope through my production.
